LeighLives Past, Present and Future

I can't believe its 2 years since I started thinking about blogging and haven't got there yet.

Well this post is a start and as the title suggests I am going to try and keep up to date on what's going on in Leigh as it affects our history and heritage, as well as hoping that readers will enrich our historical knowledge of Leigh and its people and places.

I will not be using this blog for social comment but a genuine attempt to learn and disseminate information about our town and its people in historical terms.

I hope people will use it in that spirit and will contact me on leighlives@btinternet.com with their stories and queries and I hope that I can help with information and research information or tips.
