Regatta Day - wet windy and wonderful

Although the day was spoilt by squalls and heavy showers and mighty strong winds, there was still an atmosphere of fun and enjoyment for all the family. The heritage centre housed an exhibition upstairs - something we hope to do more of in the future and it was busy.

I made several new contacts for family history and it just proves to me every year that those who come to visit Leigh genuinely love the place even if they have no family connection.
